In the last few months, I have been introduced to several products that have revolutionized my little world. They work, make my life easier and are inexpensive (bonus!). This may sound a bit like an infomercial but these products are worthy of cheesy testimonials!
1. Mr Pumi Bar. A combination of 15 dancing years, a severe hatred of socks tossed in with some genes had left my feet rough and ragged. I have tried loads of exfoliation techniques, creams and procedures that really never worked. Then my Mom sent me this funny little bar. A few uses in the shower and the cracks and super tough skin are gone! The best part is you can buy it for less than a buck! Check Sally Beauty for it...it is definitely worth the trip to a store you never go into.
2. Trader Joes Yellow Thai Curry Sauce. Good enough to toss in the crock pot and serve to dinner guests. Good enough to convince husband that curry can be good. Good enough that 3 year old with eat and eat and eat. If you are like me and TJ's is making your life difficult by opening new stores in CA and not your city, have a buddy send you a bottle or stock up on 10 the next time you can make a TJ run (I'm counting down the weeks until I can stock up again!) $2.60..if I remember correctly.
3. Prewashed Romaine Lettuce. Darn! I used my package already and can't remember the brand of this great product. I am constantly throwing out lettuce that I didn't use because washing it never happened. I love the prewashed romaine lettuce. It makes making salads happen so much faster for me. I also converted to prewashed and trimmed green beans. Both these products are a bit more than the regular DIY kind, but the price is worth the saved time and tossed produce. $ 3.00 per bag (2 salads)
4. Windex Dry Cloths. These are the opposite of most cleaning cloths because they can be used over and over and over! One roll is supposed to equal the use of 2 1/2 rolls of paper towels. I get to try these out for free with my awesome BzzAgent program (you have to sign up!) and I can't wait until they get here. Now my TV and preschool height windows may get cleaned more often! $3.50 per box.

although TJ has high quality, I have to admit they are on my S list this week! Too few gluten free items (although they list HUNDREDS on paper). ALSO- Also! Grapes have been moldy the day after puchase 2 times. TWO. TIMES.
And this week- the cheese and the grapes were moldy together. And that's CHEDDAR cheese.
Thanks for giving me space to vent.
Do you take you crap stuff back to TJ's? They will gladly take back anything, even if it is opened!
I have to agree about the Windex dry cloths. These are awesome. They even got off window marker without streaking. They have made my life so much easier as my children smear toothpaste every morning on the mirror. If only I would supervise them...
