1: the number of car mishaps. i backed into a cement pole at a gas station and busted a rear light casing. i was paranoid i would get pulled over but never did.
2: the number of teeth Abel got while on vacation bringing the total to 4 teeth to a baby who could care less about eating solid food.
3: the number of cousins Afton got to play with for ten straight days, babies not included.
4: the number of stops made on the drive up. also the number of bags of fruit snacks Afton consumed in under an hour
5. the number of stops made on the drive down and the number of days i extended my trip becasue it was so much fun and because patrick was swamped with school.
6. the number of hours i reguarly slept while visiting my sister. who knew there were that many interesting tv shows to watch while folding 12 loads of laundry!
7. the number of pounds i thought i had gained by eating great food, nummy goodies (my family's term for treats) and a lunch of 8 different bakery items. lucky me, i actually lost weight but it was probably the muscle i'd formed in my SWT class.
26. the number of hours i drove by myself round trip and the amount of time i spend day dreaming how i could make my blog about the road trip fresh, fun and spunky...how am i doin'?
147. the number of times Afton and her same age cousin Caleb fought, hit, took and looked wrong at each other (mostly started by my sweet fiesty child).
59. the number of big red barns i spotted in PA. three were painted with the slogan "Chew Mail Pouch Tobacco." perhaps there is a boutique ad agency hiding away in farm country PA
17. the number of movies i packed for Afton to watch on the trip. the number she actually watched: 4.
glad to be home.
