i like the way you move

so many friends are moving. to san fran, hong kong, buffalo, indianapolis. i had such a hard move to richmond last summer so i think about my moving friends a lot. the emotional move is the hardest part. i get to do it again in a year (hopefully) and probably many more times in my life. i used to think that i loved moving around. we've moved 8 times in 7 years so i'm a moving pro. but really, i just want to set up shop somewhere. unpack and throw out boxes. be a continual part of an neighborhood, play group, ward and friends circle. i miss my moving friends. i miss my stationery friends.
