weekly plans: solar system edition

A Great Place called Space is our preschool theme this week. Check out these out of the world activities:

Mentos Rocket Launch (I'm totally excited to do this!)

Home made play dough moon sculpt and paint

Spray bottle solar system (mix white paint with water in a spray bottle, spray on dark paper to create a solar system)

Make and use a sundial

Recycle sorting game (have a pile of recyclable items for your child to sort. make it a race for more fun). Here is a computer version for a different experience.
