350 days of sunshine and sunsets that get better and better every day
Amazing Mountains (and I'm not a mountain girl so this is pretty spectacular for me to say)
Really, really nice people everywhere you go
A community attitude of caring for the environment and living a healthy lifestyle
Zero humidity
Open Space
Well planned development
Safe (and after living in the 5th most unsafe place this is something I really love)
Clean streets, public recycling, SIDEWALKS and community trails.

Here, here! on the sidewalks! I honestly don't know what Richmond's problem was on that aspect. I'm also enjoying no humidity, nice people, great awesome neighborhood, and outdoor fun. Utah's better than I thought...

hi - I'm one of christy's friends in NY... ("missing mexican" on her blog.) I'm from denver & love popping in on your blog from time to time to see how you are liking colorado. I am jealous that you are in boulder - what a great town, and you can't beat the sunshine and the mountains. NY is basically the opposite of colorado; I miss it so.
While I miss New York A LOT!! I like the sunny skies of Idaho. The friendly neighbors, a "real" neighborhood where my kids ride their bikes, Sidewalks (that are in good shape), good dentists, a lower cost of living, more living space in a new home, a big backyard, no traffic (I rarely even go on a freeway anymore!), BIG HUGE WALMARTS, and grocery stores that sell basically EVERYTHING!
