Boulder it is!! When we told Afton she said, "a boulder is a big, big rock," so I think she is sold. It could also be the pink bedroom we're promising her. Or living close to 7 cousins.
Patrick is so excited to work at his dream agency (yes, Crispin). I'm already prepped from the grad school experience for him to work insane hours. The promise of a house motivates me to keep up the insanity for a few more years. And living by the soon-to-be biggest Wild Oats in the country.
We take off in 10 days and I didn't lift a packing finger all weekend. Monday is always a good day to begin new projects anyway!
Speaking of packing...most our stuff will be in storage for a month. Any tips of packing food storage items, packing in plastic totes vs. boxes or investing in wardrobe boxes? We'll be using PODS to move so if you have any advice let me know!

Ya and congrats! I have always heard rave reviews about Boulder and have been tempted to check it out myself. Maybe we still will...No advice on food storage, sorry. Good luck :)
Bounce sheets to cut down on the smells if it's going to stay in storage.
Don't have much advice beyond that. Label everything really really well.
Imagine my surprise to open the "kitchen stuff" box and find onions...really bad smelling and rotting ones :(
Let me know how you like the PODS, I've wandered what they were like.
Yay cousins! :D
Congrats on Boulder!!! You guys will love it there.
angie you packed onions??! ewww. good tip on the bounce sheets, i have an extra box and now i know what to do with it.
Congratulations. When we moved, I bought a lot of boxes. This was good, we needed them. My mistake was thinking I could resell them. No one wants to buy used moving boxes. But as an owner of used moving boxes, I wanted to see my boxes go to a good use, they did. Phew.
Check craigs list for boxes that people are giving away. Throw or give away as much stuff as you can.
Good luck and happy packing!
