Okay. Maybe this isn't exactly a deal. But I'm going to squeeze it into my "great deals" category because great deals give me big smiles and I'm smiling huge right now. After 7 years, many purchases of too many good deals, living in NY when we couldn't afford to live there and who knows what else...we finally paid off our credit card debt today!
Oh, how I wish I had some fireworks right now. (My sister, Angie, took the photo) I'm so excited!!
The great deal part of it belongs to Richmond. I often complain about the blahness of Richmond and am for sure counting the months until we pack up our yucky apartment and hit the road to who knows where, but Richmond has been a great stop for us financially and for that reason alone has gained my respect...although I wish sidewalks, post office drop boxes and free museum days existed here. And a zoo, and a Trader Joes, and a stand alone baby Gap, and culture outside the 10 city blocks zoned for museums, and...
