to buy or not to buy

I am totally bragging to Patrick tonight my huge success of not purchasing any clearance Halloween items. I love Halloween decorations but of course won't pay full price for them. Once the 50% sign is up, the items I loved just aren't as neat. It could also be that I have no love for a holiday once it has passed. Too bad I haven't passed up more bargains lately (I'm supposed to be doubling the monthly savings...). Here are a few worth mentioning and recommending:

1. Robeez on eBay. Sadly, I lost (yes they DO fall off) the super cute shark ones I had bought on eBay. The best bargain site ever came through and I purchased 3 pairs for $29. Amazing, I know!

2. Target carries a fantastic line of crafting items for kids call Creative Kids. I love giving crafts for birthday presents and this whole line is under $5.00. Find this product by the Crayola stuff.

3. Since we're on the Target topic, don't you love the coupons you get at the checkout and mail? $1.00 off a coke 12-pack. Yes, I will thank you very much!

4. I'm so happy when beautiful paper goes on sale at Michael's. Seriously, is there anything else you can buy that is 6 for $1.00?

5. If you have not purchased a used book from Amazon, you are missing out on bargain euphoria. I just bought my favorite children's book, Polka Bats and Octopus Slacks by Calef Brown, for $1.50 for a Christmas present.

Holler my way if you find beautiful brown boots for under $50.

No. I think it was just for a single pair. But I've considered being sneaky and starting a separate account--if I could figure out how to make it work, that is--and use it to my advantage so I could win. I still can't figure out how I keep getting outbid on everything!!! How about a post on effective e-Baying?
