1. turn up the ac and put on your favorite sweater
2. have a chili bar for dinner
3. buy school supplies (even if you don't need them)
4. make something with apples
5. plan a day trip somewhere to enjoy the beautiful fall leaves (we're going to Afton Mountain)
this is one of my favorite fall photos

I'm with you. Summer is so over.
Summer is alive and well here and I'm enjoying every bit of it. I missed out on 5 weeks of swimming cause my logic is seriously flawed...but anyways...I'm milkin' summer for all it's worth.
I love that Staples uses "It's the most wonderful time of the year" theme to advertise school supplies.
We love fall because that's where so many of our family traditions in NY happen--picking apples, long walks, halloween festivities (although I wasn't quite ready to see a gazillion orange plastic pumpkins at Stop and Shop last week!)
I enjoy the turning of the leaves, but I am not a cold weather person so boo who that summer is almost over, with the exception of here, we are in another week of 90's, the flowers are going crazy with tons of new blossoms. No putting away my sandals and no digging out sweaters.
