Patrick turned 29 this weekend. Here's my tribute to him that he may even read!
Things I LOVE about Patrick:
1. He's so funny. Not the slapstick comedy routine most have seen. It's the impressions, the nicknames for weird people (no not YOU), the subtlety and the innuendos...he's got a lot of them!
2. He's got bigger thighs than me. This was a MUST on my marriage list.
3. We have so much in common, independent of each other. We both HATE Fox News, regret voting for Bush, see the good side of living far away from family (love you though), and love American food.
4. He's always got another crazy childhood story I've never heard...or have forgotten about. "Haven't I told you about the time I spent 5 hours in a hot tub when I was 8..."
5. Sensitive. He's oo's over the kids just like me. He's never burned a bridge with anyone.
6. He's like a big kid in a really good way. Always looking for fun, totally up to date on the music side of things, wants to try new things.
7. Keeps me cultured. Indies. Remixes. Obscure events. UFC (ha-ha).
8. Makes my iPod play list (otherwise I'd be running to Cher and Janet Jackson).
9. Can say just the right thing to keep me from freaking out during a bad day.
10. Easily socializes where I don't. We wouldn't have met half the friends we have if Patrick had not nudged me.
