unnoticed

In an effort to reclaim organization in the nooks and crannies of my home, I've made a list of the random unnoticed things I'm now noticing...
1. A clock, 20 minutes slow for more than a week. I just added 20 to whatever the time was!
2. An unplayed with toy golf club behind a chair. When put in it's proper place, it was played with and again left behind the chair for a long length of time. Bad toy.
3. A box of oatmeal left on the counter for 2 weeks. How did I stop noticing that was there? I'm taking my counterspace for granted already.
4. A rocking chair bought, then tucked away in a bedroom corner, is stereotypically used to house need-to-be ironed piles.
5. High shelves-at Patrick's eye level- stacked with random stuff: school papers, receipts, CD's and a pacifier (I need those!).

Note to stuff (and husband): I see you now. Move. Get out the way. (Or so says some rap song at least)

Add to my list with your randomness so I don't feel messy!

All of those things could be in my apartment. One day the junk will overtake me, I know it. And I'm very, very afraid.
